Since November last year, Xerox corporation has been conducting investor presentations and conducting media interview just to convince and acquire the pc maker HP shareholders. However, Xerox now plans to postpone this takeover activities so the company can focus on its own shareholders. Xerox now simply needs to prioritize the health and safety of its employees, customers, partners and affiliates over and above all other considerations, including its proposal to acquire HP. Xerox is actually trying to buy the techgiant Hewlett Packard claiming that this deal will help both companies save $2 billion over the next 24 months. How the merger might benefit PC consumers is less clear, but Xerox says the cost savings could be pumped into R&D.
